In a Linux environment you can change and activate special permissions on folders of your choice at any time.
In fact you can use the permissions that you prefer, bearing in mind that the php scripts, the directories where they reside and the .cgi files, should have the permissions set to 755.
As for a Windows environment, with the Tool Permission Manager, if you have a domain with Aruba with basic Windows Hosting or Windows + Linux Hosting service, you may set and manage the reading, writing and executing permissions of the files and folders found in your web space.
Simply go to the Control Panel of the domain and then select the following button found in the “Domain Management” section.
Alternatively you can use the inheritance of permissions given to the special folders found in the web space at the time of activation, for which it is not possible to change permissions.
ATTENTION: it is not possible to activate Virtual Directory, use the root of the domain.
